This is very similar to the wikipedia entry for Grace Cossington Smith. Were you the author of the wikipedia entry?
mostly, yes. I used parts of the essay because there was almost nothing there, and it says anyone can edit.
I was particularly fascinated by the connection between Cezanne (the south of France) and Reuven Rubin (Tel Aviv), and have written about it a number of times. It didn't matter than Cezanne had already died before Rubin first laid feet on French soil.
Now you suggest that Cossington Smith's use of colour has been compared to the work of Pierre Bonnard, though she said she found Cezanne a much more important influence on her. Cezanne's impact was profound, I keep on finding.
